8 days Survey Camp

hello my fellow readers, hope you didn't wait too long for me.
I just completed my 8days survey camp in Malacca, now back in the campus waiting for the 2nd part of my holiday to begin.
lets begin with the previous 8 days 1st. basically the camp was a camp for civil engineer student from my Uni to test us how to do surveying in the real world.
The 1st day, everyone was anxious with the program and with what was the things to be going on. But in the end its was rather a bored day. my bus was the last bus to arrive at the camp site almost 1- 2 hours late, moreover the lorries with our tools came another 1-2 hours late because of they lost their way. As the result of that the program for our 1st day have to delay until the next day as our field job can't be done in the night be cause of lack of visibility. All in all the 1st day was just about getting along with friends and just chatting with them
On the 2nd day, we begin with a roll call, then continue with the national anthem and school song. After that we proceed to our 1st job(the equipment test), it was a hard job as out of the 5 test we were suppose to do, we only did one in campus and only understand how to do another, while the other three we have no idea what was it about. sigh... Therefore the 2 hour procedure took us almost 4-5 hours to complete. Then we go on to our 2nd job known as Traversing. its basically to set up station and measure for another job. We had trouble with that as my group site had too much obstruction there for we did something different from the others group. its no fun at all, being under the sun for the whole day and still not catching up with the half day we lost.
The 3rd day, we started where we stop. then continue with a new job(detailing) my group were doing a fine job as we didn't loss time although we didn't gain time either. it was a tired day, as in the night there were extra programming lesson for 2 members of each group. It ended late then only i get my rest.
Day 4, a new job is on the card but job 2&3 is not 100% yet. we did all we can to catch up spiting the group into 2 and increasing the speed to finish the job. there was a small celebration when job 2&3 was done with time to spare for job 4. My group was able to complete half of the 4th job which was a great accomplishment.:)
The 5th day can be say one of the best day of the whole camp. My group finish 1st on the day new job as we were suppose to finish treasure hunt before continue our previous job. addition to that my group was able to finish that job at the 2ndn part of the day. a really big accomplishment where my group was the only group to do so^^ today, i did a presentation for one of the job, which everyone suppose to do so. i didn't do such a good job as i am too fast when talking. sigh...
On day 6, program was on hold for other group to catch up. therefore i started by helping one of my friends. then only started my computer job. p.s it was the only day i had time to play with the sea water and really sleeping in the afternoon for most of the time :p
2 days to go, the program continue with a new job known as setting-out(setting out a building base). Most group didnt have much trouble completing it, therefore most of us use the day for some important rest.(i over slept till have no time to go into the sea....) in the night was another presentation hour.
One day to go, then we realize our computer work was far from done. with the limited computer, we rush to finish the work. Most work was done by me in my group as i was the only one handling it and the others will be slow doing it. p.s there were closing ceremony to attend to. Therefore most of us were very very busy. In the end i only finish my job after the ceremony and have a good rest for the 1st night(reason we have to squeeze 4 person into a queen size bed and single bed combine together, and i was position at the join plus i was the only one without a pillow which make my sleep bad for every night.)
And finally, the final day. it was a bitter sad farewell, i didn't want the farewell as i know i'll be all alone for another 2 days before my robocon teammate to be back at the Uni
